We picked up this little house at Goodwill for $1.50!
I just sanded the roof a little bit and used one can of black spray paint.
Now the Beanie Babies have a new home!
My little pantry needed a makeover!
I purchased these mini crates at Walmart and….Voila!
I am a happy woman!
I came across this wonderful idea for gifts while reading Michelle’s blog- Three Men and a Lady.
She has many delicious DIY ideas, and I simply love
her crisp, fresh decorating style. I had collected some random dishes from thrift stores and family members. Then I found a few glass candlesticks at Goodwill for .50!
So, here is my attempt at “pedestal plates.”
I’m thinking of plating mini muffins, cookies, tangelos, and bite-size pizzas.
Oooooohh….the possibilites are endless!
I found this great little project on The Pleated Poppy. Lindsey gives a great step by step tutorial on how to make these shirts. These were my attempts. I must say it was a HUGE step for someone like me, who owns a sewing machine and has never sewn!
Oh, how I wish had one of those mannequin busts (I ‘m sure they have a real name) to model these shirts. See…not really a seamstress.
Well, today proved to be very productive. I was so engaged in this project that I completely forgot to take a BEFORE picture…sorry! But, now I have a bag of clothes for Goodwill (it is only fair that I give something back so that they can replenish at least half of the things I bought this weekend) LOL!
Now, when I am looking for that pink, green, or black shirt
I know where to find it!
Same for the bottoms!
This is my favorite part…rolling my t-shirts. I do this for my husband and kids too.
“Where is the humidity?”… Never would I have predicted that those words would ever pass through my lips, but I am definitely over this wintry, cold, and bitter wind.
Dry, scaly and lacking luster or vibrant color…please bring me spring…
